Located in West Lothian, our cabin is perfect for guests to explore the most beautiful attractions in Scotland, Or even the start/finish of your North Coast 500 trip (NC500). We provide on-site parking for all vehicle types and are a motorbike-friendly accommodation. We also offer bike repairs on request.
Our open-plan cabin offers hotel quality at the affordable price of £130 per night. Our comfortable luxury beds come in either two singles or super king sizes and bedding, towels, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are all provided for your stay.
The living area has a three-seater sofa that can be made into another bed, where you can unwind in the warmth of two wall-mounted electric heaters. The cabin also has multiple electrical and USB charging points for all things digital.
The kitchen has a two-ring induction hob, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, crockery, glass wear, cutlery, and cooking utensils—all the items you need to rustle up a great meal. Various takeaway restaurants in the West Lothian area are also available for food delivery. The fold-out dining table provides a space to enjoy meals while discussing your adventures. Coffee, tea bags, sugar, and milk are also provided.
The shower room has a sink, an electric shower, a toilet and even underfloor heating for your comfort.
Motorcycle and car parking spaces are located right outside the cabin, with security options provided so you can be assured that your transport will be safe. Larger vehicles can also be parked right across from the cabin on request.
Our television comes with Freeview and Netflix, or if you wish to catch up with the online world, you can join our Wi-Fi.
Roman Camp Cabin is located in West Lothian, just 20 minutes west of Edinburgh City centre making it the perfect accommodation in Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival. Our cabin is just over four miles from the M8 and M9 junction, offering easy access to the Scottish Highlands, the West and East coasts, and the beautiful Scottish borders.
Our local train station, Uphall Station, is a 15-minute walk from the cabin, and here you can catch a train to Edinburgh Waverly Station in just 17 minutes. Or take a trip from Queen Street Station to Glasgow in just over an hour.

Before any big journey by motorcycle, it’s essential to have your bike in tip-top condition and if you have clocked up a big mileage some maintenance may be required when you’re on the road.
At Roman Camp Cabin we offer a supplementary motorbike maintenance service and with experiences in motorbike rebuilds, repair and service we can be on hand to assist.
With a well-equipped workshop we can help you with replacing chains, sprockets, tyres, batteries, brake pads, changing out engine oil and filter. We are also located a few miles from Bikespeed UK, which stock service parts for modern bikes and tyre fitting facilities.
Or you may just want to give your bike some TLC with a wash or by checking your tyre pressures, and these can easily be catered for.
Having travelled throughout Scotland over the years, we can also offer guided tours on some of the best roads this beautiful country has to offer. Costs would depend on your preferred route and accommodation would need to be taken into consideration.
